Lisa Abbatomarco is a free spirit who has spent a lifetime advocating for nature in many guises. As an interdisciplinary artist and educator with a background in puppetry, visual art, and music, her work has been inspired and informed by the natural world.

Trained as a Master Gardener and certified with RINLA as a RI Horticulturalist, she’s shining in her 9th year as a Fine Gardener. With gardening as her current medium and muse, she feeds her passion for process and transformation. Through gardening, she curates spaces with care, balancing beauty, ecology, and sustainability. She values tactile experiences and sees gardening as a playground for knowledge and awakening the senses. Lisa’s life practice is to cultivate curiosity, wonder, and discovery, and gardens are an inevitable space of solace and surprise.
