Ground Flora Exterior Design is a design/build/maintain company based in Providence. We are seeking a gardener who is either experienced or willing to be trained to provide niche gardening to a premium class of customers in the Providence area. Our company is known for the highest level of professionalism and expertise in creating and maintaining extraordinary properties in the area. An ideal candidate would share our passion for landscapes and our emphasis on creating healthy ecosystems through organic landscape practices. This part to full time seasonal position offers opportunities for growth and education.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of gardens

• Comprehensive care of plants including mulching, perennial maintenance, pruning, planting bed amendments and monitoring of plant health

• Capable of operating mechanical and hand-held equipment

• Ability to work with a team as well as independently

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record over the last 3 years

• Must be comfortable driving pick up trucks

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Able to work outdoors during hot and cold temperatures

• Punctual, hardworking, and self-motivated

Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour depending on experience and performance.

Mow residential lawns with a crew member. Spring/fall clean ups with crew.

• 2-3 days weekly (April-November)

• 7:45am - 4:15pm load up, unload

• 30 minute paid lunch (bring your own)
